How to sell stuff on Depop

October 20, 2020 By SIN Staff

By Anastasiya Sytnyk

You want to find a way to get rid of your stuff but also don’t want to donate it for free?

Have you heard of Depop?

Depop is an app that you can use to post your clothes and other items for sale and also buy clothes and accessories!

You might be confused as to how it works at first but don’t worry, it’s pretty straight forward!

  1. Create your account!

This step is pretty easy, fill in some of your personal details, like your e-mail, password and some personal data to verify your identity! (Don’t worry your data is protected)

  1. Personalize your account!

Add a profile picture and a little description to help people connect with you and trust you as a seller!

  1. Take photos!

Take photos of the items you wish to sell and identify why you wish to sell it, and maybe describe the size of the item and any other significant detail (don’t forget to use hashtags!)

  1. Pricing!

Make sure to price your items fairly to attract your customers!

  1. Advertise your Depop

Advertising brings traffic to your account and helps people find your items and request them!

  1. Follow other accounts!

Try and bring your follower count up to bring even more traffic to your account and attract more potential customers!
