With Kim Kardashian rumoured to be leaving reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Samantha Kelly gives us a few of her best on-screen moments that are sure never to be forgotten…
As many of us have heard Kim Kardashian is soon to leave the reality show, ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’. It has been said that the reality star’s mother, Kris Jenner, is not happy to have her ‘money maker’ leave for a more private life. Some say this need for change happened after Kim K had her baby North West in June earlier this year, and so has decided to break away from the Kardashian clan and leave the reality show behind her.
Oh how we are going to miss some of Kim’s tantrums and dramas that have happened over the years. In light of this, here are a few memorable moments for you all to remember her by.
Who could forget Kim’s butt x-ray? In early June 2011, the star got her butt x-rayed and contrasted the results against her sister Kourtney’s breast implants to prove that her Armenian booty is real. She even said that “a few people have asked if its real. You can grab it if you like”. No Kim I don’t think we need to go that far, the x-ray is enough proof for us. Thank you very much!
Following the butt x-ray, Kim and Kris Humphries tied the knot in August 2011, this being Kim’s second marriage. Kim went all out for the black and white theme wedding, having three Vera Wang dresses – every girls dream. Although, it might have been a good idea to decide on one dress, considering this honeymoon was short lived and only 72 days later the couple filed for divorce. Yes that’s right, Kim’s second divorce and all by the age of 31.
On a lighter note, but not a well pitched note, Kim released her single ‘Jam‘ in early 2011. If you have not heard it yet, I suggest you don’t! Even though Kim looks flawless in the video as always, let’s just say her singing and her single didn’t make it very far. Needless to say Kim did not pursue the music industry any further and stuck with modelling.
Any of you remember Kim, Khloe and Kourtneys obsession with laser treatment? It was Kim’s quote to her sister Khloe that left the public in hysterics. What was it Kim? Oh yes “you have, like, a better vagina than I thought”. How pleased I can only imagine Khloe felt when Kim said this on the series.
We as viewers seem to love to hate, and at times even admire this reality star. Her antics never cease to amaze us, from her tantrums such as when she bawled over her fiancé Kris Humphries throwing her in the sea in Bora Bora and losing her $75,000 earring, (why on earth would she wear them swimming anyway?) to her famous and ridiculous quotes. One that particularly stands out being when she was chatting with a friend in New York and says “all girls have sex with football players the same way”.
Many of Kim’s fans are going to be disappointed to see her leave, but after having so much of her life in the lime light, including her sex tape, I think we can understand why she might decide to leave for a more private life with her fiancé Kanye and her daughter Nori (North). In the words of Kim K herself “and I’m done!”.
